Details of some of the plants on the short walk near the house The walk to the Winery takes about an hour, down across the gully, up the other side and past the vineyards. We will pick you up if the tasting and the generous hosts wear you out. Mowed paths lead around our 60 Acres, take a bushwalk, along the edge of the rainforest gully, down to the creek bed and back to the Bean picker's Log Cabin. Night walks with the spotlight are out into the textures, scents and sounds of the forest at night. We look for the sugar gliders and other nocturnal residents. A stroll along Harrison's track leads to a lookout over the North Arm, where the boats (of an earlier era ), from the boarding houses in Lakes Entrance moored for scones and tea at Mrs. Comer's Tea Rooms. |
