Follow the track (above) to the lookout over the top end of the North Arm. |

Built of local timber, fixed together with dowels and chinked with
stringybark, this hut was home to the bean growers from the 1930's. They grew the beans in
the gully and carried bags 5-6 Km across to trucks on the highway. |

| A major source for the North Arm, the stream runs for several days or
weeks after heavy rain. The rest of the year the wombats and wallabies dig down to drink
the water under the sand. |
