| The open areas here have been planted with Senecio
linearifolius to protect wattles interplanted with them. This area was used
for growing beans then left for 50 years before we sprayed the blackberry
and allowed some regrowth to start. |
In this area there are scattered Kangaroo apples
and clumps of nettles idea for hiding the wattles to develop canopy cover,
allowing the shade tolerant understory plants to develop. |
