| Lakes Entrance provided holiday accommodation from around
1900 when families would travel by train to Sale and steamer down the
Lakes to Lakes Entrance to stay in boarding house accommodation along the
Reeves River (Now called Cunningham Arm). We offer hospitality and an
environment more like earlier times rather then the impersonal rushed
approach of more modern times. Our first connection with Lakes Entrance
was as the honeymoon destination for my Aunt Rose and her soldier husband
in the second world war. These are the postcards she bought on that trip. |
