A team from the Great outdoors show from Channel 7 came to Goldsmith's in the Forest Bed and Breakfast Lakes Entrance  on the 8th of May 2002. Over the next two days they filmed the activities and the surrounds. First task was the nearby bike trails and forest roads where Shelley demonstrated her skills on the mountain bike. The rail trail along the old Bairnsdale - Nowa Nowa rail line provided plenty of scenic locations to complement the lush rainforest locations along the Lakes Tramway Trail. Back at the accommodation, food collection in the forest provided wild mushrooms and from the dam yabbies to add to the evening meal. Here Shelley took the time for a quick lesson in preparing the mushrooms. After dinner a spotlight walk illuminated the forest and found a brushtail possum to feed. There was also time to explore the unique rainforest that provides the scenic backdrop to the house, before a candlelit spa in the forest to cap off the day.
